This page describes electronic mailing lists
for departments in the Division of Science

In a Nutshell

  • Everyone in the sciences at Brandeis should subscribe to science-seminars
  • Everyone in the sciences at Brandeis should be on at least one of the *-majors, *-grads, *-postdocs, *-staff or *-fac lists (the one appropriate to your status and affiliation or interests)
  • Don't use the mailing lists for information that is confidential or sensitive.

How to Subscribe or Send Mail

To subscribe, click a link in the table below and follow instructions on the website. For advanced list management, see separate topics Managing your list subscriptions and Notes for Mailing List Admins. The list server web interface is at https://lists.brandeis.edu/

To send email to users on a list, send e-mail to list-name @ lists.brandeis.edu. Usually the lists are moderated, so there may be a slight delay before the mail is actually distributed if you are not a subscriber.

Unsubscribing

see Managing your list subscriptions but usually it is easiest to do from lists.brandeis.edu - login with your UNet password, and you should be able to get a list of your subscriptions.
